INTO THE WEATHERING STAGES, progress at the XXVIIB midget

The li´l seal-project went straight on. After the decision to apply some kind of camouflage was made, the airbrush was a busy tool these days. The tailplane of the He-162 (Last ditch effort) forced me to try my H&S Infinity to its limits. I explored new capabilitys of the brush, playing around with ultra-thin mixtures. This experiences came in pretty handy. Freehand brushed fine lines, providing a cammo which reminds a little to reflections of small waves at objects under the surface.

The final appearance of the model should look like man-made cammo indeed, but the various filters smoothen the effect very pleasing. One should be able to imagine what the painters in the depot  aimed for, as they applied the light cammo.

There still is a way to go, but like Winston Churchill said:

This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning
